Mortgage Technology Magazine Awards Advectis with Fix-IT Award

ATLANTA, October 28, 2005 – During the 92nd Annual Mortgage Bankers Association of America Conference in Orlando, Mortgage Technology magazine awarded Advectis®, Inc., the provider of the most widely-used solution for electronic mortgage document collaboration, with the prestigious Fix-IT award for BlitzDocs®. The award is given every year to the company whose technology application fixes a particular problem in the mortgage process.

The mortgage industry has been saturated with paper because of the strong need to communicate between all parties that participate, from origination to closing to due diligence. There was a need to create a system through which all parties could share information efficiently. Advectis is one of the first companies to develop a complete system that is accessible to all parties without requiring a substantial investment in changing their existing systems.

BlitzDocs, or BlitzDocs Collaboration Suite, provides a collaborative electronic document network for all participants in the mortgage loan industry to capture, submit, organize, underwrite, audit, share and deliver loan documents electronically.

"Winning this award is an honor for everyone at Advectis," said Greg Smith, president and CEO of Advectis. "This recognition further validates the need in the industry for the kind of technology that will change the mortgage process entirely. We are committed to improving the process and reducing costs. What we have been able to create through the BlitzDocs Collaboration Suite is a consistent, reliable method to help the mortgage industry move toward the e-mortgage and going paperless."

Advectis has garnered the respect of the industry by creating a network that saves time and money for lenders, underwriters, due diligence and quality control providers as well as investors.

"With the automation provided by BlitzDocs solutions, our brokers and underwriters have a better loan process to more comprehensively meet the needs of their clients," said Josh Stallings, vice president of strategic initiatives for No Red Tape. "The capacity to create an image of the file and then immediately manage the file makes our workflow more effective, furthering our goal of becoming the most technologically progressive jumbo lender in the nation."
