Xerox Mortgage Services’ Greg Smith Awarded Steve Fraser Visionary Award
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 14, 2009 – Xerox Mortgage Services Vice President and General Manager Greg Smith earned the 2009 Steve Fraser Visionary Award from Mortgage Technology magazine. During the 2009 Mortgage Technology Awards, Smith was honored for his commitment to improving work processes in the mortgage industry with digital technology.
Smith was also recognized for developing Xerox Mortgage Services’ BlitzDocs® Collaboration Suite, a Web-based loan collaboration technology that captures, submits, underwrites, audits, shares, delivers and archives loan documents electronically. Clients like American Home Bank, Opes Advisors, Resource Lenders, Shore Mortgage, Trident Group and Uniwest Mortgage Corporation, rely on BlitzDocs to adapt to shifting market conditions, process loans faster, stay competitive and save on costs.

Smith worked for nearly a decade to promote paperless adoption and grew the BlitzDocs Providers Network to include more than 100 lenders and dozens of providers/partners spanning loan investors, due diligence professionals and underwriters. He continues to enrich BlitzDocs’ offerings with new e-Mortgage Suite capabilities - complete with e-sign services.
